It’s Up To Us is a multi-media education and awareness campaign for the County of San Diego. With positive, strength-based creative messaging, the campaign aims to encourage San Diegans to speak up and get help, or listen up and offer support to those experiencing mental health challenges. Below are some of the campaign’s radio materials:

  • Dissonance (Radio)

    A stigma reduction radio spot asking the public to look inside themselves for understanding and compassion for those having mental health challenges. By becoming more open minded, we can change public perceptions of mental illness.

  • Make a Difference (Radio)

    A stigma reduction radio spot encouraging behavior change through acceptance, understanding and support of those with a mental health challenge.

  • It’s Not Always Easy (Radio)

    A suicide prevention radio spot encouraging the public to learn and recognize the warnings for suicide in others and seek help.

  • What Would You Do (Radio)

    A suicide prevention radio spot encouraging the public to learn and recognize the warnings for suicide in others and seek help.

  • Tyler (Radio)

    A radio spot targeting young adults. It shares that mental health challenges can affect anyone and the importance of learning to recognize the signs, and seek help. It also demonstrates that the support of friends can make a difference.
